Amokachi’s Twin Son Snubs NPFL Clubs for Zambia’s NAPSA
The twin son of former Super Eagles forward Daniel Amokachi, Nazim Amokachi, has made an exciting move by opting to join Zambia’s NAPSA Stars.
The forward, rather than continuing his career in the Nigerian league by joining any of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, sides, has chosen to pursue his career outside of Nigeria’s borders.
Following in his father’s footsteps as a forward, Nazim has signed a two-year contract with NAPSA Stars, departing from his previous club Lobi Stars in the NPFL.
A press release from NAPSA Stars introduced Nazim alongside Zambia striker Saith Sakala. Ponga Liwewe, the club’s CEO, expressed confidence in these new acquisitions,
“We believe that these two exceptional players will make a big impact on and off the field, contributing to our success in the upcoming season.” He said.
Nazim, originally from Liverpool, along with his younger brother Kalim, has prior experience playing for clubs in various countries, including England, Besiktas U21 in Turkey, and JS Hercules in Finland.
This move marks an exciting new chapter for Nazim, who also holds Tunisian citizenship. His journey with NAPSA Stars in Zambia promises to be an intriguing development in his football career.
