Daniella Okeke: Making Lasting Impact Through Charity

Nollywood star Daniella Okeke is making a lasting impact in movies and charity. Through the Daniella Okeke Foundation (DOF), she has carried out various commendable projects, reaching the young and old.

According to Okeke, a model and entrepreneur, the foundation is a community impact established with a passion to empower and uplift at-risk and less privileged Nigerians nationwide.

She emphasised: “Our vision is to build a caring and better society. The foundation’s to alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians as much as we can. Also, to give hope to the hopeless.

“Reaching out to those who cannot help themselves is my little way of giving back to society.”

Through her NGO, the graduate of Fine and Applied Arts has carried out numerous laudable projects that have positively impacted the lives of people in different parts of the country.

“Since 2017, we have visited Kirikiri women’s federal prisons, where we distributed food items and other essential supplies to imprisoned women with their newborn babies.

Also, the DOF has reached out to impoverished homes, educational campaigns to schools with our Stay At School project and others too numerous to mention.

The Imo state indigene is confident that the Stay At School project encourages children to study and go to school.

“The DOF believes so much in education. Education is critical because it is a powerful tool for empowerment, and we are committed to helping these children reach their fullest potential.

Through the Stay At School project, we have distributed essential writing like story books, textbooks, writing materials, school bags and other school supplies. We hope to do more as funds improve’, Okeke says.

The organisation is working on new projects, which will be unveil later.
