Just In: Lagos Assembly Fails to Confirm 17 Commissioner- nominees, Okays 22

Lagos State House of Assembly has confirmed 22  Commissioner-nominees out of the 39 on the list sent for screening and confirmation. 

The Assembly did not confirm 17 other nominees.

The 17 Commissioner-nominees dropped include: Folashade Adefisayo – Former Commissioner for Education; Akin Abayomi – Former Commissioner for Health; Dada Cecilia

Former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation; Sola Hammond – Former SA on Sustainable Development Goals; Gbenga Omotoso – Former Commisoner for Information & Strategy; Sam Egube – Former Commissioner for Budget and Planning, and Aramide Adeyoye, Former SA, Works & Infrastructure
