Bodex Unveils Lineup of Speakers for 4th Edition of Social Media Hangout 

Bodex Media, organisers of the annual Bodex Social Media Hangout, has announced its line of speakers for the fourth edition of the event planned to be held October 21 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The convener, Ms Bodex Hungbo, shared that the occasion will bring together social media influencers, media practitioners, content creators, government officials, leaders in the creative industries, and entertainment executives. 

Notable figures such as Obi Asika, Dr. Chike Mgbeadichie, Dr. Morayo Afolabi-Brown, JJ Omojuwa, Kemen from Big Brother Naija, Mariam Bakre, Dayo Israel, Uzoamaka Orakwue, Ola of Lagos, Jennifer Etito, Dami Adenuga, and many others are expected to participate.

“Bodex Media has promised this year’s edition to be impactful and fun with opportunities for networking with attendees and celebrities from all walks of life. The guests, speakers, moderators, media practitioners, content creators, fans, online participants and the general public are promised an experience to remember at BSMH 4.0,” Hungbo stated.

Themed ‘Social Media: Hope or Hubris?’ The edition seeks to explore the role of Social Media in the personal, entrepreneurial and societal advancement of Nigerians in the country and diaspora. 

It will X-ray the critical roles social media play in personal prosperity and advancement, especially in the face of the relentless inflationary impact of the recent and erstwhile administration’s policies.  

Additionally, it will explore the potential for business expansion and entrepreneurial development through effective use of social media platforms and tools.

The event will foster discussions around the significant impact of social media on democracy, national progress, and civic engagement. 

It will also shed light on how politicians, their supporters, and electoral candidates utilize social media to mobilize support, raise awareness, and encourage engagement. Attendees can anticipate engaging conversations that highlight social media’s role as a strategic instrument for driving social change.
