Plans are in top gear for the first BSN Africa Alumni Conference which is scheduled to take place in South Africa next year.

Business School Netherlands (BSN) Alumni have inaugurated their new executive members for 2023.

Speaking during the inauguration of the new executives for 2023 on the theme, “Action Speaks Louder than Voice”,  the incoming president, Mrs Hansatu Adegbite, said the new administration would start by organising the First BSN Africa Alumni Conference in South Africa in 2024 for their colleagues around the continent, adding that they look forward to the Nigerian alumni being there in their large numbers.

She also stated that the conference would include corporate tours, field trips, networking sessions, learning opportunities, breakout sessions, recreation, relaxation, tourism and end with an African alumni congress meeting, noting that they would springboard off that to find ways to connect with the larger international alumni body.

Adegbite stated that within the next two years, the administration would focus on delivering on the following key areas: Alma Mata, cross-border engagement, technology, information and opportunities.

She also stated that they do not want to be mere talkers but continuous doers, adding that they believe in substance not promises, adding, “A tongue does not deliver on anything significant without corresponding action.”

According to her, “We have witnessed the growth of the school in Nigeria with an increase in the students as well as the graduates. It has been a joy to record the promotions and great heights being achieved by members of the alumni continually and I believe in many more years to come the accolades will only soar higher.”
