Brands, Professionals Jostle for Marketing Prizes

Organisers of the Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA) have announced the 2023 edition, while tasking actors to embrace professionalism.
Unveiling the award during a press conference in Lagos, recently, its convener, Tony Agenmonmen remarked that the annual event is aimed at celebrating distinguished marketing professionals and brands.
Agenmonmen revealed the theme of this year’s award holding November 10 as “Elevate, Innovate and Inspire”, stating that it reflects the organisers’ devotion to elevating standards of marketing practices, inspire professionals and organisations while encouraging continuous innovation in a rapidly changing landscape.
He further encouraged qualified ones to take advantage of the award opportunity that packs 26 competitive categories including: Campaign of the Year, Brand Innovation of the Year, Marketing Company of the Year, Telecom Company of the Year and Best Dairy brand of the Year, amongst others.
He explained that all entries will be assessed by a team comprising of seasoned marketing professionals, accomplished marketing experts and industry leaders.
He said that the judges also known as Awards Decision Council and led by CEO of Entod Marketing, and a fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Mrs Iquo Ukoh were individuals from diverse groups to further enable a transparent process.
“They will ensure that the evaluation process is thorough, fair, and aligns with the highest global standards”, Agenmonmen added.
Commenting, Ukoh said, “We are fully committed to this cause, and that is why I’ll advise practitioners and corporate organisations to avail themselves of the opportunities it presents. It is a way of tracking performance in the industry, which I believe marketing companies and professionals should take advantage of.”
Also speaking, CEO, CMC Connect, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya commended the organisers’ skillfulness and efforts to put the awards together towards inspiring excellence in the industry.
