Ziduak Mbaba is a singer, model and entertainer. She started singing at a tender age in church choir and still sings in the choir from time to time as she has deep roots in her Christian faith. Before her career in music, she left the comforts of home to start a modeling career in Lagos. Ziduak has graced the runway at various fashion shows. Do you still sing in church or you have moved out due to the secular songs you now do?

I still sing in church, when am not on trips that calls for my service in my career and work.

Can you take us through your background, family?

Am the fourth child of four female children, my father is late, my mother remarried and now with a step sister. Academic: Am in at the National Open University of Nigeria, but on hold for now.

Who are your biggest inspirations? Musical influences?

Christ, Pastor Chris Oyahkilome, Michael Jackson (for his creativeness in his craft and humanitarian service.

Are there challenges you face as an upcoming star?

 Working with God’s Grace, but previously it was finance, sexual harassment, coveters.

Sexual harassment, coveters…?

Yeah, from some people both in and outside the entertainment industry.

Are you signed to any record label or just an independent artiste?

I’m not signed to a record label.

What is that you feel stands you out?

God given unique me, style and purpose; I’m skilled in other field of entertainment.

How about modeling? You appear to be into music more than modeling?

Well, after most of my performances, I get approached to do a job in the modeling field, movies also. So, that’s why I front the music more.

How do you go about creating a song?

Through inward inspiration from within me, external engagements that spurs an idea or concept, most especially musical sounds, instruments…

What genre of music do you do?

PopRap in any genre of beats.

What songs do you have out there already?

Two albums on all music store online. With the search name “ZiduaK” on the sites, the songs on the two albums will appear.

What do you enjoy the most about being an artiste and creative?

Whenever I complete an inward concept, conceived them in the physical and the effect and impact they result into.

Who are your musical influences/role models?

The truth is, I really don’t have an actual art or arts, they could be already existing or new art, whose craft isn’t common but exceptional, I admire the God given gifts in them and how skillful they are. A list of few is Michael Jackson, Kendrick Lamar, Kenya west, Burna Boy, Rema.
