President Bola Tinubu has charged members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to roll out actions aimed at reviving the ailing economy and make life more bearable for the citizenry.

The President gave the directive to the 45 Ministers on Monday at the maiden meeting of FEC held at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

Briefing newsmen on the deliberations at the meeting, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, said he presented “Roadmap for the Economy”, noting that the Council agreed that the economy was not where it ought to be.

According to him, Council examined eight priority areas and identified targets to deliver in the next three years, adding that the President thereafter charged the Ministers to roll out policies and programmes to turn around the economy.
