United Way Greater Nigeria Partners Jass Academy to Elevate Work Etiquette and Client Relationship Skills for Young People in Northeast Nigeria

United Way Greater Nigeria, a leading non-profit organization focused on health, education, and income generation, has joined forces with Jass Academy to empower beneficiaries of the Promoting Inclusive Economic Growth and Development through Sustainable Project (a US Embassy, Abuja funded initiative). This collaborative effort equipped participants with essential work etiquette and client relationship management skills tailored for the millennial worker.

The training program took place at the American Corner, University of Maiduguri, the training was divided into two sessions: the first on July 27, 2023, and the second on August 10, 2023. The partnership comes in response to empower beneficiaries with skills and the evolving needs of the modern workforce, as well as the growing importance of effective client interactions in various professional settings.

Speaking on the significance of this initiative, the Executive Director, United Way Greater Nigeria, ‘DeolaDurodola said “The global workforce is evolving, and nonprofits and relevant corporate organizations need to continue to partner to create opportunities like this that empower young people to succeed in the ever-changing professional landscape and competitive job market. This is why it was important for us at United Way Greater Nigeria to partner with an organization like Jass Academy, a renowned institute specialized in professional development. We have been able to help these young people who are prospective university graduates to gain insights into contemporary workplace etiquette including effective communication, professional appearance, time management, and workplace decorum as well as client or customer relationship management, providing exceptional services and fostering long-term partnerships.”
