Youths Advocate, Oshara, Inspires Empowerment, Cultural Pride Across Ekiti State

Nigerian Youths Advocate amd Entertainer, Sola Shittu, well known as Oshara, is making waves in Ekiti State, igniting empowerment and fostering cultural pride among the region’s young population.

Oshara, who hailed from Ikere-Ekiti has taken on the role of a trailblazer, galvanizing Ekiti youths to embrace their heritage and actively participate in the development, promotion, and preservation of the indigenous values and virtues that define their state through his innovative initiative, ‘ ProudlyEkiti Concepts’.

Oshara is revolutionizing the way young people perceive themselves and their place in their community.

ProudlyEkiti Concepts began as a visionary project and has since grown into a dynamic force driving empowerment across Ekiti State.

The initiative aims to equip the youth with essential skills, mentorship opportunities, and creative avenues, allowing them to thrive in their chosen fields.

Under Oshara’s leadership, ProudlyEkiti Concepts is reshaping the cultural narrative by encouraging the celebration of the accomplishments and contributions of Ekiti’s young citizens.

Oshara’s impact extends beyond his involvement with ProudlyEkiti Concepts. He is the CEO and visionary behind the company, while also holding the position of Creative Director at Greenwave Productions.

This multifaceted approach allows him to leverage various platforms to amplify his mission and connect with diverse audiences.
As an Afrocentric artist, Oshara is not only a skilled songwriter and producer but also an accomplished entertainer.

His dynamic performances, often accompanied by his live band, The VibeRators, have made him a sought-after presence at African ceremonies and events, where he brings his unique brand of music to captivated audiences.

Oshara’s journey is rooted in his upbringing. Raised by his grandmother, he imbibed rich Yoruba virtues and heritage, which became the bedrock of his identity. His educational path took him from Adedewe Nursery and Primary School to the University of Ado-Ekiti, where he studied Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences. Further education at Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) and Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA) expanded his horizons.

Beyond music and entertainment, Oshara has dedicated himself to youth advocacy, media, and entrepreneurship. He began his media journey as a TV and radio presenter at the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti (BSES), later cofounding Advantage Consults, and assuming roles like Editor in Chief of Ignite Magazine.

Oshara’s impact is undeniable, as evidenced by his performances at the Excellence in Leadership Conference in 2018 and the inauguration ceremony of Ekiti State’s governor, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, in 2019.
