His films, “Rebirth” and “The Beads,” have been carefully chosen for premieres at TINFF, marking a significant milestone in Morakinyo’s esteemed career. These movies have received recognition in several categories, including Best International Film, Best African Film, Best Indigenous Film, Best Picture Film, and Best Drama (Nollywood).
Commenting on this momentous occasion, Akinbayo Morakinyo shared, “I am deeply honored and profoundly humbled by the privilege of having not just one, but two of my creations showcased at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.
