Mercy Johnson Still Partying

Nollywood star, Mercy Johnson Okojie was filled with joy as she solicited prayers of thanksgiving from his fans on her 39th birthday. The actor, who was born on 28 August 1984, took to her social media handles to celebrate her new age on Monday morning. Mercy, while giving appreciation to God for her successes, said “life is a gift not a right”.

In a post on her social media page, she wrote, “Contentment is a realisation that life is a gift not a right and true happiness comes after contentment. Please, you don’t have to post my picture, just say a silent ‘Thank you prayer to God for me’… Birthday Girl!”

Mercy’s politician husband Prince Odi Okojie, in a lengthy post revealed her charming pillars that have held him up during his good and bad days.

He also used the moment to recall their marital journey. He wrote: “@mercyjohnsonokojie Today, on your birthday, I want to celebrate not only the passing of another year but also the incredible journey we have embarked on together… happy birthday, my love. May this day and every day that follows be filled with endless joy and laughter. I love joy more than words can capture. Congratulations”.

Just days back, the couple had celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary with beautiful photos, specially taken to mark the occasion. The mum of four stated in her wedding anniversary post that she’s content with her lifestyle, adding that she wants nothing more, while her husband reflected on how far God has taken them. Mercy described him as her quarrel and gossip partner who she can’t do without.

These lovebirds have built a strong bond over the years. Mercy gushed over her husband and the bond they share as fans and colleagues celebrated the joyous occasion with them.
