Uchi Uchibeke, a proud son of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and CEO of Chimoney, a global payouts platform, has made the nation proud by leading his company into the prestigious Techstars Toronto Accelerator program.

 This remarkable achievement showcases Uchi’s innovative spirit and is a testament to the boundless potential of Nigerian entrepreneurs on the global stage.

Chimoney’s platform empowers businesses to send global bulk payouts to emails, phone numbers, or Twitter handles, making it easy for recipients to cash out to banks, gift cards, crypto, mobile money, airtime, and more.

Uchi’s journey from Port Harcourt to founding Chimoney in Canada is nothing short of inspirational. He moved to Canada to study at the University of Saskatchewan and faced numerous challenges, including financial uncertainty due to government instability in Nigeria. 

Despite these struggles, Uchi persevered and went on to work at Shopify, RBC, and IBM Canada before founding Chimoney.
