Pro-APC Group Lauds LP, PDP for Challenging Tinubu’s Victory in Court

The Patriots in Defence of Democracy, an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, has commended the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for challenging the victory of President Bola  Tinubu in court.

It said the opposition parties have the right to ventilate their perceived grievances in court.

Its Convener, Mr. Tosin Adeyanju, stated this on Wednesday in Abuja while speaking with journalists on the sidelines of a solidarity walk organised in support of Tinubu.

He expressed optimism that the court’s final judgment would be in Tinubu’s favour, hence, their decision to converge to celebrate Tinubu’s anticipated victory at the tribunal.

His words: “We are here in celebration of our anticipated victory because we have no doubt in our minds that the majority of Nigerians voted for Tinubu on February 25.

“We have a strong belief that the judiciary will affirm Tinubu’s victory at the poll. Nigerians should keep faith with Tinubu because he has what it would take to deliver true democracy devidens to the people,” he said.

Adeyanju noted that Tinubu had so far done well in his first 100 days in office, adding that Nigeria would be a better place under Tinubu’s administration.

On his part, a former National Youth Mobilisation Director of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), South-west, Mr. Kashim Raji, called on leaders of opposition parties to join hands with Tinubu to build a better country for all.

He noted: “Politics should not divide them, they all have what it takes to build the country. I appeal to them to join hands to build and move the country forward.

“Let’s all come together as brothers to build this country. It is only in peace and unity that we can have a country called Nigeria as ours, I therefore appeal to their supporters to embrace peace, because there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
