ADC Guber Candidate Pledges to Tackle Perennial Inadequate Water Supply in Kogi East

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi State, Leke Abejide, has reiterated  commitment to tackle the problem of shortage of water supply across the Kogi East senatorial district if elected into power.

Abejide, who was represented by his running mate in the November 11 governorship election, Dr. Omede Idris, gave this assurance while speaking during his visit to Kogi East senatorial districts of the state at weekend.

He explained that the party, ADC, has mapped out the strategy to review the issue of inadequate of water supply to the entire Kogi East through the abandoned Ejule water supply and reticulation within our first hundred days in office, stating that  the issues of water shortage would be addressed with firmness.

According him, “Already, our team and party have the road map to revamp the project, and we are going to invite all the experts to join us to bring this project back in both long and short term.

“We are innovators and multiplicators in all human ramifications, and these qualities you would begin to see as we assumed leadership in the state.”

He further told the gathering that his principal, Leke Abejede, has agreed that the welfare of the people of the state would be the centre of the administration, adding: “Yes we would combine both infrastructural development project and human capital.”

He said: “The administration of African Democratic Congress would turn around the fortune of the state, bringing dividend of democracy to the people of the state through a well thought-out process and projects management.”

 The running mate to ADC governorship candidate reiterated the commitment of his team to prosecutes all the peoples programmes and projects that would guaranteed that businesses would naturally flow in all the sectors in the state.
