Vienna-based artist Rose May Alaba is captivating audiences with her latest musical creation, “Lockdown.” The soul-stirring composition blends the genres of Afrobeats and Pop, showcasing Alaba’s undeniable talent and captivating vocals.

Produced by Babybeats and co-written by Molly, “Lockdown” celebrates Alaba’s unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of fusion-inspired music within the Afrobeats genre.

Born and raised in Vienna, Alaba is on a mission to bring Afrobeats to a global audience, particularly in Europe. Her musical journey began in 2015 with her debut single, “If All of This is You,” and since then, she has fearlessly explored various musical styles, ultimately discovering her unique sound.

Alaba’s impressive performances include appearances at the Afrobeats Festival and LollaPalooza Festival in Berlin, as well as a legendary stadium show at the Special Olympics.

Collaborations with renowned producers like Masterkraft, YoungJonn, Chopstix, and now Blaise Beatz, coupled with her multilingual singing ability, have cultivated a global fan base spanning Africa, America, and Europe.
