Arravo, AWS Harp on Cloud Adoption for Data Safety, Cybersecurity

Tech solution company, Arravo, in collaboration with AWS, has highlighted the importance of cloud as a digital transformation tool that would guarantee data safety and cybersecurity in Nigeria.

The Group Chief Executive Officer, Arravo, Dr. Ayo Adegboye, said this at a recent conference in Abuja, organised in partnership with AWS, and designed to drive innovation with cloud technology.

According to him, cloud adoption is a leap into the technological future, which has come to stay and must be embraced.

Adegboye explained that securing data with the cloud would ensure significant reduction in cost with little or no barriers to Information Technology (IT) infrastructure.

“Security to a large extent is inevitable but then what Amazon has done is to offer multiple layer of security in the cloud, and I have never heard of any major compromise when data seats in the cloud which is what we are bringing to this part of the world.

“Cloud is ready and available as long as you have access to it. When we talk about moving fast, scaling up fast in any sector of the economy, the only way we can achieve such parameters is to consider going into the cloud. Cloud adoption is like taking a leap into the future, which makes cloud technology a necessity and the future technology,” Adegboye said.
