Rivers Loses State Lawmaker to Death

Khana Constituency II in the Rivers State House of Assembly, has lost its representative to death, Mr Dinebari Loolo.

The cause of his death as at the time of filing this report, was yet to be known. But rumous  have it that he died in his sleep early hours of yesterday.

THISDAY observed that the House, which was adjourned for yesterday (Monday), could not sit following the news on the sudden death of Loolo.

The Speaker of the House, Hon Martin Amaewhule, led other lawmakers on a condolence visit to the family of their late colleague.

Amaewhule, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues during the visit, expressed sadness over the death of the lawmaker. He described him as a committed member, who contributed immensely to the development of his constituency and the state.

He urged members of his family to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a life of service to humanity and left a legacy that will forever be remembered.

Some persons, who claimed to have seen the lawmaker at the weekend, said he was healthy and full of life.
