The Value of Silence

Hell could freeze over. Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team is trying to stop Donald Trump from making “inflammatory” comments although only in relation to people involved in one specific court case.

Is there a special ‘mute’ button as based on previous performances it seems unlikely that Trump will keep silent voluntarily?

If someone has created such a button there will be a great market for it since most of the public is tired of listening to politicians and their lies, dammed lies and in this case promises.

There is wisdom in the words of America’s founding father, Benjamin Franklin, on this issue “Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.”

Truly, Silence is Golden.
