ViMP 2023: Parthian Partners JA Nigeria Collaborate to Empower Fresh Graduates
Parthian Partners, Nigeria’s premier interdealer brokerage firm, has partnered with Junior Achievement Nigeria to host the Venture in Management Program (ViMP) to empower young graduates.
The ViMP 2023 programme, which kicked off on 11th September 2023, is an annual transformative programme that equips 100 Nigerian fresh graduates with entrepreneurial and work-readiness skills.
During the learning process, participants explored compelling case studies that mirror real-world business challenges that will enhance their critical thinking and deepen their understanding of business ethics, marketing, finance, and strategy.
The participants were opportuned to learn fundamental business management skills from world-class educators at Lagos Business School.
They experienced special events such as an Alumni Mixer and Career Fair with leading professionals from the ViMP alumni community and other industry professionals.
The Chief Executive Officer of Parthian Partners, Oluseye Olusoga, said, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Junior Achievement Nigeria for the third time to offer this unparalleled opportunity to Africa’s emerging leaders.”
With over 29.7 million youths comprising more than 20 per cent of the nation’s population, he lamented that investment in skill enhancement and leadership development for the youth is essential and imperative.
“This collaboration is a testament to our shared commitment to fostering leadership and harnessing the talents that will undoubtedly shape the future of our nation,” says Olusoga.
On his part, the Executive Director of JAN, Foluso Gbadamosi, said, “In an ever-changing world where change is the only constant, the demand for extraordinary leaders has never been stronger.”
ViMP, she added, is one of JAN’s ways to raise global leaders passionate about the well-being of nations and people, go into diverse sectors to change the world for good and contribute to the attainment of UN SDGs, particularly, 1, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 13, 17.
The ED emphasised: “We are convinced that young people can transform their communities and create long-term solutions that will impact the world around them.”
Gbadamosi underscored their goal to build, promote, and sustain a global leadership mindset among young people for the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds.
She thanked Parthian Partners for their ongoing sponsorship of ViMP, expressing appreciation to LBS for its unwavering support since the programme’s inception.
