As part of its effort to give back to the society and also mark its fifth year anniversary, Nigeria’s premier custom home cinema installation company, Triangle has delivered a state-of the art Cinema to the Lion Club Orphanage home in Lekki, Lagos.

The cinema room with a sitting capacity for 20 children, estimated at N25 million, provides entertainment and educational opportunities for the children.

Commissioner for the Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende appreciated the effort of the company while describing the initiative as a social inclusion project done to the children.

The Commissioner said: “This is laudable and encouraging. You deserve more than a round of applause. But you people are doing something incredible that you may not even be aware of. They say a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. You have not taken a step. You have taken a giant stride. Your competitors are way behind you. You have broken what I would call the glass ceiling.”

Speaking on the reasons behind the gesture, Co-founder of Triangle, Mr. Olayinka OdejayI, said it was just a way of giving back to society.

“We have done work for some of the most high-net-worth people inside Nigeria and outside Nigeria. So this was our way of saying, you know what, let’s just take that thing that we give to this high-net-worth individual and make it accessible for people that don’t necessarily have access to these things.

“For the children, for example, it will change the way they play. Because when we came to the home, we found out that the children didn’t have a place where they used to watch TV. They didn’t have a place where they used to entertain themselves. So the room specifically for this, first of all, is for entertainment. They can access educational content online, “Odejayi said.

One of the managers of the home, Retired Air Vice Marshal, AVM Anthony Okpere, commended the company.

He used the opportunity to urge other well meaning Nigerians especially CEOs of companies and the Commissioner to help in the other needs of the home.
