Davido Finally Unveils ‘N100 million’ Feel  Video

Davido has treated fans to a visual feast with the release of the music video of his chart-topping track, “Feel,” the second song off his latest album Timeless, released in March 2023. The visuals find the Nigerian artiste on a mission to locate a woman who catches his attention. They both endure their own respective journeys to finding each other.

Directed by the prolific TG Omori, the video appears to be one of the most eagerly awaited music videos of 2023. Davido released the video a couple of days after appreciating his fans last Tuesday following the success of his tour on September 29, in Australia.

Taking to his official social media handles, the DMW music boss urged his fans to watch the new video which he called a movie. Before the release on October 3, 2023, a snippet of the video shared by the video director TG Omori had caused a stir online.

It further fueled anticipation as Davido had in an interview in March, revealed that he spent “N100 million” on the video shoot. Speaking to Beats 99.9 fm, Davido said “I’m proud to say that’s my first N100 million video”. According to TG Omori, the video holds the distinction of being the most outstanding video of the entire decade.

In his view, “Feel” by Davido has not only met but exceeded the standards of artistic accomplishment, making it a noteworthy and exceptional work within the realm of music videos. “Feel” is a perfect blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano elements, creating a unique and captivating sound that resonates with fans of both genres.

The song has garnered immense popularity since its debut. The track features an energetic and pulsating beat, coupled with Davido’s deep but smooth vocal delivery that effortlessly carries the song’s emotional weight. Currently, the Timeless album holds the record as the biggest African album in Apple Music history after record-breaking first-day stream.
