Foursquare Gospel Church Set to Hold Most Publicised Convention

The Foursquare Gospel Church Convention, 2023 Chairperson, Pastor Mrs. Oluyomi Adejugbe, has stated all plans are on top gear to hold the most publicised convention it has ever had in history.
Addressing a press briefing , she stated that the convention scheduled to hold on the 13th-19th, November 2023, themed “Rest on every side” is taking from 1st King 5 vs 4.
According to her, this year’s convention would feature the General Overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church, Reverend, Sam Aboyeji, Pastor JT Kalejaiye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and many others.
She commended the leadership of Foursquare Gospel Church for the commencing the convention on a Monday, adding that the convention would start with a praise concert and a NMC meeting.
“We are already equipped and this is why we tagged it “Praise Recital”. We have invited so many praise artistes from all of our axis. On Tuesday, we also have a praise night tagged “A night of a 1000 hymns where we would be lifting our voices to worship God,” she said.
She said the official opening ceremony of the convention is on the 15th of November, 2023, adding that this year’s convention is loaded with lots of opportunities that the Lord is opening to the church that has never been witnessed before, stressing that the committee has covered almost 90 per cent of its districts with wide spread publicity.
“This year, something that we did that was very unique as a committee is to start our 30 minutes prayer. We started since January 1st and to the glory of God and we are going to continue even till after convention. We meet regularly on a monthly basis, the last Friday of every month to do Jesus walk round our convention ground in Ajebo,” she said.
She said as a committee, it is tasked to enhance the auditorium by giving it a facelift to be more conducive for people to worship in, stressing that the committee had also constructed a police station as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the community.
“We are also constructing a state-of-the-art mini stadium in our camp in Ajebo which would have a football pitch, a very big pavillion that will house over 500 people. We are also constructing a gym for people to have access to physical body exercise after a spiritual exercise,” she added.
The move is to attract youths, saying that it would be a side attraction for youths and teenagers to be actively engaged in the convention.
She added the convention would also feature foreign delegates from different parts of the world to use the convention to reach out to villages around our camp in their bids to bless the community with the word of God.
“This is the most publicised convention that our General Overseer has ever witnessed. The project that we have embarked on with this convention are projects that brings people together,” she averred.
She also stated that as a church, it places huge priority on youths, saying as such it has designed so many empowerment programmes for its youths to have a brighter future.
