Kathy Woghiren Awarded Doctorate in Music, Film and Arts

On the 23rd of September 2023, Dr. Kathy Woghiren, a global luminary in Gospel music was awarded a Doctorate Degree in Music, Film and Arts by Weldios University.

Dr. Kathy Woghiren sits at the bedrock of Christ Embassy’s music and arts world. During the formative years of Loveworld, whilst still called Youth For Christ, Kathy Woghiren (nee Oyakhilome) a younger sister to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, pioneered the music department, and till date, has been instrumental in the development and growth of the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry of Loveworld Incorporated with millions of youths in Music, Dance, Creative Art and Movies.

Many popular names like Testimony Jaga, Tru South, UR Flames, Sinach, Eben, Buchi, Jahdiel, Joe Praize, Ada Ehi, Chris Shalom, KMK, Bishop Chikancy Israel Strong, Password, God’s Creed, Kids Can, Kings Can, Dapsy Banks, Protek, Daniel Mylez, TB1, CSO, the prestigious Loveworld Singers and many more are all products from Loveworld’s music endeavours headed by Dr. Kathy Woghiren. She is the writer of the popular Loveworld Anthem, which almost everyone who visited a BLW Campus Fellowship in School would have learnt. She also wrote the award-winning song “God of Heaven and Earth” which has currently been adopted as the ministry anthem for Loveworld Incorporated a.k.a Christ Embassy.

Evangelist Dr Kathy Woghiren also pioneered the LMAM Derizo Foundation which is responsible for providing scholarships to hundreds of youths in several institutions around the world and empowering them with skill sets that will set them above the poverty line and make them champions in their world.

The Mother of Stars, as she is popularly called by many, is passionate about helping talents bud and fulfil their God-given destiny, and has meritoriously played these roles in the lives of thousands across the music ministry of and from Christ Embassy around the world

She is also, the Director of the Loveworld Films Academy (LFA), an initiative of the Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome which she embarked upon to saturate the film industry with intentional storytelling to promote wholesome, rich and decent content with excellent moral values globally.
