My Parents Wanted me to Study Law or Politics – Skits Maker, Ben Cash

On-the-rise skits maker and video creator, Benard Adedeji Ossai better known as Ben Cash has become popular and a delight to watch on account of his Comedy skits and videos. He appears well on his way to become one of the very best in the trade but being in the acting business was something his parents never intended for him.

According to him in a chat with our reporter, Ben Cash revealed his parents wanted him to study Law or politics, saying acting is not a serious career path for any young man to pursue.

“Movie making has always been my dream all my life but my parents didn’t think it’s a “real career” and said it’s unrealistic. They wanted me to study Law or Political science,” he said

With a little help from his old friend, Sirbalo, Ben Cash followed his dream and soon began to make a difference as a notable skits maker. He is particularly popular for his ability to switch characters and take on the persona of any gender and killing the act.

Sharing his story, he said, “Acting has always been my dream, but with help of my friend (Sirbalo) after he was done learning film making, we created a group lnown as Sirbalo Comedy Clinic and started making our skits. And the people I look up to in the acting/skit industry are my Mr. Ibu and Charles Inojie. This duo inspired as a child and they are my mentors as far as acting goes.

Ben Cash Comedy career began in 2013 with his team, Sirbalo Comedy Clinic. His dexterity came to fore when he won Indomie BelleFull Comedy Challenge 2.0 in 2016.
