Give Tinubu Time to Prove Himself, Cleric Begs Nigerians

The Planter, Christ Apostolic Church, Adamimogo Grace of Mercy, Prayer Mountain, Worldwide, Prophet Olu Alo, has urged Nigerians to be patient with the new government of President Bola Tinubu, who he said is determined to turn things around in Nigeria, adding that patriotic citizens can see the signs of good things to come.

He spoke after the burial and thanksgiving service of Pa. Joseph Omowaye Alo which took place in his house and Christ Apostolic Church, Okesegun, Ido District Coordinating Council Headquarters, Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

At the event were Attoney-General, Ekiti State, Dayo Apata (SAN); wife of former Ogun State governor, Mrs Olufunke Daniel; former National Youth Pastor, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Pastor Anu Ojo; Ogun State and Benin Republic Essien Regional Superintendent, Pastor Isaac Eyebiokin among others.

Alo who also donated block of classrooms to Benedicta Catholic School, a library, and also laid the foundation of maternity hospital within the week as part of events to mark the burial was very optimistic that things will soon be normal in Nigeria, only for Nigerians to be patient and be optimistic.

He added that after a given time, if the nation refuses to change from the status quo, Nigerians can then react.

“Nobody can do miracle within three months. Let us give President Tunubu and his team at least six months to one year to prove themselves,” he said.

He commended the South West Governor’s agenda to implement railway system in the region which according to him is not just a good development but also a move that will create employment opportunities for the youth.

“Nigerians should be patient with President Tinubu as things will get better. If the train is built across the South West, it will enable effective commerce within the region,” he said.

He also reiterated his earlier suggestion that the government, instead of monetary palliative should make available a lot of food, determine the prices and create selling points whereby the government should be selling the food themselves.

Alo admonish religious leaders to place more emphasis on the message of love, tolerance, patience, patriotism and other virtues which are needed at this time.

CAC Regional Superintendent, Essien Region (,Benin Republic/Ogun State) Pastor Isaac Eyebiokin estol the virtues of humility and selfless service to God and mankind exemplified by the late Pa Joseph Alo, stressing that Nigerians should endeavour to live a life worthy of emulation.
