Avwioroko, who earned a master’s degree in Renewable Energy from Newcastle University and a First Class in Industrial Physics from the University of Benin, is making notable strides in promoting energy security through renewable sources. His extensive expertise spans various sectors, including oil and gas, power, technology, engineering, healthcare, and telecommunications. He has also advised governments and public sector organizations, underscoring his versatile approach to energy solutions.
At A’Lime Media Limited, Avwioroko led innovation and sustainability efforts, pioneering a telecommunication and technology sustainability working group. His role at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Lagos as Assistant Manager, Strategy Consulting, further highlights his influence, where he developed strategies to boost Nigeria’s investment in renewable energy.
Avwioroko’s commitment to renewable energy is demonstrated through his hands-on projects and research. He has designed a building-integrated photovoltaic system in the UK, analyzed solar and biomass potential in Nigeria, and tackled the challenges of anaerobic digestion for energy production. These projects underscore the feasibility and impact of renewable technologies in diverse environments.
Recognized with numerous awards, including the Newcastle University International Postgraduate Scholarship and the Delta State Government First Class Graduate Scholar award, Avwioroko is a prominent member of the European Energy Centre and an ISO 26000 Corporate Social Responsibility Lead Implementer.
