Noella Foundation, a prominent organisation focused on driving positive change in Nigeria, has announced a leadership transition and relaunch that signifies a new chapter in its journey.
Founded in 2018 by Layal Tinubu and her husband Seyi Tinubu, the Noella Foundation has played a significant role in improving the lives of children and young people across Nigeria. Seyi Tinubu, who had been leading the foundation’s efforts, is now passing the reins to Layal, who will become the Executive Director. The leadership transition represents a strategic move for the foundation to address evolving challenges with fresh perspectives.
“I am deeply honoured to lead this incredible organisation into the next phase,” says Layal. “Together with our dedicated team and partners, we will work tirelessly to create a brighter future for Nigeria.”
Known for her work in social change and international partnerships, Layal holds educational qualifications, including a bachelor’s degree in Politics and African Relations from SOAS, University of London, a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from the University of Surrey, and is pursuing an Executive Leadership Certification at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
The foundation is confident that her educational background and commitment to making a difference in society, particularly in uplifting marginalised communities will bring a refreshing perspective to its mission.
As the CEO of Tots Toys, Layal has experience in company growth in multiple countries over the past five years.
