Travelwings to Expand Tourism Sector, Launches Corporate Office

Travelwings, Nigeria’s leading travel company has made another significant strides with its plan to expand Nigeria’s tourism sector and equally contribute to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP, through innovative measures to boost tourism.

The firm which made the revelation at the grand opening of its corporate office in Lekki, Lagos, aimed to showcase the Travelwings brand and provide customers with exciting travel opportunities, for travel enthusiasts and stakeholders creating a buzz of excitement throughout the country.

The Chief Business Development Officer of the firm, Sean Bradley, said Nigeria need sustained efforts to build a viable tourism economy, because tourism contributes significantly to the GDP, adding that although there are challenges in actualising this, the firm was prepared to surmount them.

“This is also about growing tourism in the region, and more importantly, contributing towards the development of the nation’s economy and increase the GDP, which in the long run, would contribute towards the development of infrastructural projects. We are optimistic and have a lot of prospects, though there are challenges, but we are focused on the opportunities”, Bradley said.

“We are constantly bringing products at various service levels to the consumer, that is, offering a compelling product in terms of competitive pricing airfare wise, land arrangements, helping students get to their dream universities globally.”

“Also, we intend to create job opportunities for Nigerians, he said: “For young people, the more offices we open, the more opportunities, we would create for our young persons, to be employed as customer service agents. As they are absorbed into the business and equally grooming them to become Business Development Officers in the region”, he added.
