Enyimba Crash Out of African Football League

For the second time in less than two months, Enyimba, have lost out in the opening round of continental club tournament.

The Aba Elephant were hammered 3-0 (aggregate 4-0) by Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the second leg of the inaugural African Football League. 

The Moroccans opened scoring after just four minutes before they added two more goals before halftime. 

Wydad who won the first leg 1-0 in Nigeria last week, have thus advanced to the semifinal of the inaugural AFL.

They will face  Esperance of Tunisia who won 3-1 on aggregate against TP Mazembe. 

Despite their quarterfinal ouster, Enyimba will pocket $1 Million (More than a Billion Naira) as prize money for featuring in this tournament that has the full backing of world football governing body, FIFA.
