Sanwo-Olu to Flag off Logistics Command 10KM Walk, Jogging Exercise in Lagos
Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will on Saturday, November 4, Lagos State by 6am prompt at the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, Ikeja, flag off the 2023 annual 10 Kilometre Walk/Jog Exercise.
This is part of efforts aimed at fostering all round physical fitness of its personnel for enhancement of combat readiness, especially as the nation grapples with insurgency, terrorism and other security challenges.
The routine Military Exercise Walk/Jog will involve participation of all the NAF Units in Lagos area and it will kick off from Headquarters 081 Pay and Accounting Group to ATO Gate, turn right to VIP Lodge Roundabout and make U turn to FAAN Training School Roundabout and back through same route to ATO Field.
Consequently, the general public, particularly motorists and other road users along the aforementioned routes are encouraged not to panic during the exercise, but go about their normal businesses as adequate efforts have been made to minimise disruptions to traffic.
