Nigerian Journalists Share Exciting Experience about V-CON Malaysia 2023

Nigerian journalists who attended the 2023 V-CON global event in Penang, Malaysia in September this year, organised by QNET, a global lifestyle and wellness-focused direct-selling company, had exciting tales to share with other Nigerian journalists.

Speaking during a recent webinar organised by QNET for Nigerian journalists, and moderated by Thelma Ilems, a television presenter from TVC, Veronica Dan Ikpoyi, said her experience at the 2023 V-CON event was a special one for her because it coincided with her birthday anniversary celebration.

Describing her experience in one word, Veronica said V-CON 2023 was ‘Electrifying’ for her because it came with some sort of carnival that would leave her with long lasting memory that is pleasant.

Describing her experience from the venue of the event, Veronica said she felt the vibes and energy from the beginning of the conference. She said she learnt so much from the speech of the Founder of QNET, as he attracted so much attention to himself. Veronica described the humility displayed by the Founder as awesome, which according to her, was a display of leadership style that was cherished by over 12,000 delegates from across the globe that listened attentively to him.

Expressing her perception about QNET as a company that has operated for 25 years, Veronica said she loved the resilience and commitment of QNET, despite the resistance it faced in the Nigerian market, as it continues to win more hearts and touching more lives in the Nigerian market and beyond.

Another journalist from News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Funmilola Gbotekun, said she was excited to see the large number of persons that attended the V-CON 2023 event in Malaysia.

She said the event offered opportunity for stakeholders to learn, interact and get deeper understanding of the QNET operations.

Funmilola said she cherished the all-paid expenses to Malaysia by QNET and that she remained grateful to QNET for the hospitality during the trip. She said it took her a long time to recover from the long flight from Nigeria to Malaysia. Speaking about some of the amazing health products from QNET, Funmilola said she was fascinated more by the Chi Pendant, which according to her, relaxes her nerves each time she wears it after being exhausted from office work.

“After returning tired from work on a particular day, I put on the Chi Pendant before going to bed and I woke up refreshed the next morning,” Funmilola said.

According to another Nigerian journalist that is based in Abuja, the Chi Pendant helps her to relax after getting stressed up during the day. According to her, the direct selling technique of QNET is helping Nigerians and Africans to grow their entrepreneurial skills and making them self-employed. She talked about the different sites they visited during the trip to Malaysia like the university campus, which she said was a real example of a research-based university. She described her experience in Malaysia as an amazing one.        

Speaking about the operations of QNET and how QNET plans to further expand its presence in Nigeria in the coming years, the Regional General Manager at QNET, Mr. Biram Falls, said with the support of its partner, Transblue Limited, QNET would continue to deepen its product sales in the Nigerian market and beyond.   

According to him, “In July and August 2023, QNET hosted two notable Product Expos in Abuja and Lagos, Nigeria. These expos presented a platform to showcase QNET’s diverse array of health and wellness products and services while deepening the understanding and appreciation of QNETS’s invaluable contributions to the communities in which we operate.”

He said QNET would continue to use its annual event to bring together a diverse assembly of business leaders from different sectors and countries, including; network marketing experts, international entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in Penang, Malaysia, for its flagship event – V-Convention.

In September, QNET held V-CON 2023 in Malaysia, which had some selected journalists from tier-1 media outlets in Nigeria, invited to attend the event.

V-Con 2023 in Malaysia was a pivotal five-day event for QNET’s customers and distributors. It provided a platform for deepening product knowledge, engaging with experts, and experiencing dynamic demonstrations. Attendees also benefited from business-building sessions and gained insights from accomplished distributors, solidifying the QNET global commitment to growth and learning in the network marketing community.
