KOCCIMA Organises Trade Fair to Promote Businesses, in Kogi

The forthcoming KOCCIMA 2023 Trade Fair that would promote businesses and serve as a catalyst to boost economic activities in the state.
The President KOCCIMA, Mr. Femi Ajisafe, made the disclosure during a visit to the Kogi State Council of NUJ to intimate the media of the forthcoming trade fair slated for November 20, 2023.
He noted with seriousness the need to revive the tradition of trade fairs in the state and lamented the lull witnessed in business activities in the state due to the absence of trade fairs.
Ajisafe described the economic importance of Kogi State in human and natural resources in the country, as reasons for the trade fair, and urged for the support of the media.
He noted that the gains expected from the trade fair remained unquantifiable and said that the trde fair whose theme is “Driving Small, Scale and Medium Enterprises Through Value Addition to Order Sustainable Economy” has been well packaged to attract local and foreign investors.
The KOCCIMA 2023 Trade Fair, according to the president, promised to turn the business opportunities in the state for growth and development.
He urged government, private sectors and individuals to join hands in ensuring that the trade fair is successful.
Speaking, the Chairman of Kogi State NUJ, Mr. Adeiza Momohjimoh, described Trade Fair as veritable platform in expanding business frontiers and praised the leadership of KOCCIMA for seizing the opportunity to show case the State rich business opportunities.
