Tinubu Signs N2.17trn Supplementary Budget into Law

President Bola Tinubu has signed the N2.17 trillion supplementary budget passed last week by the National Assembly into law.

The president on Wednesday afternoon signed the 2023 Supplementary Appropriation Act in his oval office at the State House, Abuja, in the presence of top government functionaries including the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abbas; Secretary to Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume and Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu.

Others standing by President Tinubu at the ceremony included Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele; Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Olamilekan Adeola; and Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Zach Adedeji.
