CIO Award to Honour Tech, Innovation Drivers in Africa

The organisers of prestigious CIO Awards Africa have continued to promote innovation and development through the annual award initiative that aimed to spur growth in the Africa region.
Announcing the 2023 and fourth edition of the award initiative, CEO of Edniesal Consulting and Covener of the award,Abiola Laseinde, in a statement disclosed that the hitherto national award has extended to the African region to celebrate incredible tech giants in the continent.
Laseinde disclosed other African countries captured in this year’s award, scheduled for November 25 at Muson Centre, Lagos to include:Ghana, Egypt, South Africa, Senegal, Kenya and South Africa.
She reiterated the objective of the award as to reward top technology leaders, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and industry veterans who have significantly impacted their organisations and industries through innovative technology strategies.
Notable tech icons who have won the award before now included Funke Opeke, Kofo Akinkugbe, Juliet Ehimuan,Randy Bikraj, Seun Solanke, John Obaro and Kunle Ogedengbe, amongst others.
“The CIO Awards Africa 2023 promises to be a landmark event, and the expansion into new African regions underscores the commitment to celebrating technological innovation across the continent. This gathering of tech leaders, innovators, and industry experts will undoubtedly drive the digital transformation of Africa.
