Gbenga Adigun Moderates FIABCI Nigeria’s Golden Jubilee Panel Session

Gbenga Adigun, co-founder of Rebar Perfecta, recently spearheaded a panel session at the Golden Jubilee 50th-anniversary celebration of the FIABCI-Nigeria Chapter in Lagos. Themed “Repositioning Real Estate Industry for the Future: Ethics, Affordability, and Sustainability,” the event marked a significant milestone in the real estate sector.

The epoch-making gathering, held at Eko Hotel and Suites on November 8th, showcased Adigun’s exemplary leadership as he engaged industry experts in thought-provoking discussions about the Nigerian real estate landscape. With his keen insight and expertise, Adigun posed engaging questions that stimulated dialogue and shed light on key issues facing the sector.

In addition to celebrating achievements over the past five decades, the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), Nigeria Chapter, seized the occasion to advocate for governmental action. Both federal and state governments were urged to prioritize revitalization efforts by implementing new policies and initiatives aimed at fostering growth within the real estate industry.

Gladstone Opara, President of FIABCI-Nigeria, emphasized the urgency of addressing challenges confronting the sector. Opara stressed the critical need for effective policies and programs to drive the industry toward maximum performance. Despite notable improvements, Opara acknowledged persistent setbacks across various aspects of the industry, underlining the importance of repositioning initiatives in development, financing, mortgages, ethics, environmental stewardship, and sustainability.

The event not only celebrated FIABCI Nigeria’s illustrious history but also served as a platform to galvanize stakeholders towards collective action for a vibrant and sustainable future in real estate.
