Atiku Visits Home after 2023 Presidential Struggles

The former Vice President of Nigeria and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the  2023 general election Alhaji Atiku Abubakar,  has visited his home state Adamawa after his Presidential struggles .

His home coming  was also ahead of his forth coming  birthday and Founder’s day of the America University of Nigeria ( AUN) slated for  this Saturday.

The vice president had left home for  his presidential struggles immediately after the 2023 governorship elections held in the state only to return  to the state  yesterday.

On arrival, the former vice president scored the PDP government   very high , where he urged  the Adamawa people to support the transformation move of the state government led  by Alhaji Ahamadu Umaru Fintiri.

Atiku who was received by the state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta and all commissioners at the  Yola International Airport  as a mark of honour to welcome  him back after his 2023 Presidential struggles  following the  verdict of the Supreme Court that put the presidential struggles to
rest.

The former vice president said Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has done exceptionally well, particularly in the area of infrastructure, education and health care delivery.

“The PDP-led administration for its giant stride, particularly in the area of infrastructure,  education and health care delivery in the state.

“I called on people of Adamawa state to continue to support the current administration,” Atiku added.

The state deputy governor, who represented his principal and led state government delegation, comprises  commissioners to welcome Atiku to the stat and  congratulated  him for putting his best to salvage Nigeria.

She said there were at the airport to receive and honour him for coming back home after a political well-deserved struggles because of the masses.

Meanwhile, ahead of the vice president’s birthday and the AUN Founder’s Day this Saturday, preparations were on top gear as his eldest Son, Adamu Atiku , Commissioner of Works through his foundation, has empowered many women and children to mark his father’s birthday and AUN has turned a new looks as decorations and renovations still ongoing to honour the Vice President Atiku Abubakar who happened to be the founder of the AUN.
