AMVCA: Nosa Afolabi Wins Best Actor in Comedy Film or Series

Nosa Afolabi, popularly known as Lasisi Elenu, took home the award for “Best Actor in A Comedy Film Or Series,” at the 8th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards for his performance in the movie, The Razz Guy.

The announcement which ushered Lasisi to the stage was his first movie award recognition.

He is a comedian, actor, and content creator with numerous titles under his belt.

He has been able to garner massive social media followership since bursting onto the content creation stage as one of the most influential Nigerian creators with his ability to captivate audiences with amazing character role-playing from skits to the big screen.

“First and foremost, I want to thank God because I didn’t think I was going to win this.

“Being nominated into this category was such a big scare for me, and I want to appreciate all the nominees,” Lasisi revealed as he received the award on stage.

He went on to appreciate his fans and the team. “I also want to appreciate and thank the organisers of AMVCA, and not to forget my fans.

“You have no idea how much effect you have on us as entertainers. Your energy and support mean the world. I truly want to thank you all for being there for me and supporting the brand. God bless you.”
