Edo 2024: Dr Augustine Achievements Will Win Gov Poll For APC – Hon Hamza

The All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Edo state, Dr. Augustine Ojiezele political trajectory began long ago, noting that his unprecedented achievements both in the party and beyond will win election for him.

Hon Hamza Mohammed who is also the chief press secretary to Dr Augustine Ojiezele in a press statement said that
Dr Augustine Ojiezele has been a committed financial party man whose feats of development to the growth of the party have been remarkable. Adding that he has played a significant role in the party’s evolution and has contributed to its growth and development.

He said, his commitment to the party is evident in his financial support and dedication to its ideals. He has been actively involved in party activities and has worked tirelessly to promote the party’s goals and objectives.

“As an ACN member, he’d been a strong pillar who contributed financially to the establishment of the party secretariats both at the ward, LGA and State levels (Ward 10, Ugboha, Esan South East LGA and Benin City).

“He also single-handedly bought generating lighting sets, and motorcycles for some residents at his ward as an empowerment programme.

“The party as an opposition then, DR Ojiezele took it upon himself to pay all party executives’ stipends/ allowances as well as the rent and office furniture at the ward level. This was further complimented by the provision of over 100 bags of rice as well as livestock for party members in the locality seasonally.

“Dr Augustine Ojiezele has also shown a great commitment to the APC party by taking responsibility for providing buses for transportation to convey members of his ward to all local and state party functions.

“On education and medical grounds, Dr Augustine Ojiezele has paid the WAEC enrolment fee for no fewer than 300 students and has given a non-refundable grant of N50,000 for over 600 active APC women members for trading in his ward/LGA. During COVID-19, provided as palliatives for the less privileged. Recently, he has assisted 215 persons in paying their medical bills for eye cataract operations.

“As a philanthropist he’s given scholarship to well over120 students in his community at Ugboha. And as a Party Leader he’d gifted over 320 motor cycle bike to party members and his community. He also established rice millll factory Ugboha where he offers free milling services to rice farmers for their produce,” Mohammed said.

He further noted that in 2016 and 2020 Edo State Governorship Election respectively, Dr. Ojiezele was a member of the State directorate of Campaign where he made huge financial contribution and mobilization of voters towards the success of the party in the election.

He added that during the just concluded 2023 general elections, he provided so many standard billboards for President Tinubu and his Vice across the SLGAs that made up the Edo Central Senatorial district. This is in addition to thousands of handbills and campaign souvenirs sponsored by Dr Augustine Ojiezele across the district.

He said, “These feats amongst so many others are Ojiezele’s contributions to community development services, party growth, building strong political capital.

“Overall, Dr. Augustine Ojiezele achievement of development and commitment to the APC party have been significant. His contributions have helped shape the trajectory of the party and have contributed to it’s growth and success in Edo State.”

He started his early education at St.Thomas Primary School, Kano, Gwash Commercial College, Jos: Federal Government College, Kano (HSC): BSC, Ed Business Management (UNIMAID): MSC Banking & Finance: MBA Business Admin (UNIMAID) amongst others.
