Kidsport Charity Cup Season 13 Gets Dec 2 Date

The much-anticipated Kidsport Charity Cup Season 13 kicks off on December, 2, 2023 at the Campos Sports Centre, Lagos Island.

This was disclosed by the founder and cordinator of Kidsport Charity Cup, Mrs Bukola Alabi while addressing the journalists yesterday in Lagos.

In his welcome address, she said the one-day event would not only witness football, saying sports such as Ludo, Basketball E-sports, Sac-race, scrabble and other side attractions would be included in the one day event.

She explained further that six orphanage football teams, four football academies and four second schools would be participated in the competition sponsored by Kingmakers.

“We are looking forward to this year’s edition and I am happy that this competition has attracted sponsorship from various corporate bodies. I want to thank our sponsors and partners for their supports towards this year’s edition and I believe that this year would live up to expectations.

“This competition has unified the kids amongs orphanage homes and other participants since we started it years ago and it gives me joy to organise such competition to make the kids discover their talents and bring them to the limelight,” she said.

In his own comment, Gossy Ukanwoke said his Kingmakers is happy to associate itself with the kids and urged the participants to play the game according to the rules and regulations.

Meanwhile six orphanages are expected to feature in the football event. The participating orphanages are Street 2 School, SOS Isolo, SOS Owu, Project Friendship Initiative, Habitation of Hope, and Citadel of Grace.
