Outstanding Brands Honoured at Nigerian Marketing Awards

Nigerian brands who have proven outstanding and innovative in the year have been rewarded for their efforts at the Nigerian Marketing Awards in Lagos, recently.
According to the award organisers, the second edition was aimed at instilling the consciousness of entrepreneurship in marketing managers, advertising agencies and experiential marketing agencies.
Some of the brands who shone at the award ceremony were MTN Nigeria, Rickett (Dettol) , Palmpay, Red media, ZAGG and Pepsi.
They were recognised as Best Reputation Management of the year, Best Social Responsibility Campaign of the year, Best Use of Social Media of the Year/ Financial Institution of the Year , Best Influencer Marketing of the Year/PR Agency of the year, Brand innovation of the year and Award for Campaign of the year respectively.
Moreso, Sprite, Brandlife, Hollandia, Life Continental Lager Beer and Nigerian Breweries emerged Excellence in Experiential marketing, Experiential Agency of the year, Best Diary brand of the Year, Brand of the Year and Marketing Company of the Year, respectively.
In the players’ category, Brand Manager of Maltina, Malta Good and Nigerian Breweries Plc, Ifeyinwa Lauretta Madu emerged rising star of Marketing of the year, while Miss Olatimenhin of Covenant University shone as the Marketing Student of the Year.
Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa was announced Inspirational Marketing Leader of the Year, while Azeez Disu emerged Brand Journalist of the year.
Commenting, Chairman, Awards Decision Council, Iquo Ukoh reiterated that the award programme, themed ‘Elevate, Innovate, Inspire’ aimed to recognise creativity, innovation, and dedication of players.
