Ogun LOC Meets MOC Today ahead of 2024 Sports Festival

Ahead of the forthcoming National Sports Festival in Ogun State, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the games will officially meet with the Main Organising Committee (MOC) set up by the Federal Ministry of Sports recently in Abuja.

The three-day programme, according to the Head of Media and Publicity of the games, Mr. Kunle Solaja, will allow the two bodies to harmonise their programmes and schedules for a hitch-free fiesta which will be held next year across some cities within the state.

He stated that all members of the two bodies arrived at Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne yesterday evening where they will lodge for three nights and will meet formally this morning before the tour of facilities in Ikenne and Sagamu.

Tomorrow, members of the two bodies will head to Abeokuta where the bulk of events will take place for the inspection of facilities after which they will meet and brainstorm on challenges and opportunities that will ensure a near-perfect staging of the festival.
