Logistics Firm Launches Delivery Link for Effective Services

Logistics firm, Myto Limited, has launched DeliveryLinkNG, an e-hailing app for effective delivery and dispatch services across the country.

The launch, which took place in Lagos recently, brought together industry leaders, small business owners and end-user customers.

Speaking at the launch, the Team Lead of DeliverylinkNG, Dele Oriyomi, emphasised the aim of the app to connect individuals and businesses that need to move goods of all sizes, with a wide range of transportation and logistics options such as bicycles, bikes, cars, van, and trucks among others.

According to Oriyomi, the app was borne out of a need to put a structure in the operations of dispatch and delivery services in Nigeria as the small-scale delivery process in Nigeria is unorganised and highly manual.

He said: “Oftentimes when we need to send or receive a package or move from one apartment to the other, we depend on referrals from friends and family on reliable vendors.

Other times, we go the extra mile to visit parks or cluster locations of these bikes/trucks. As such, we felt the need to introduce a structure around how logistics operates, which is how DeliveryLinkNG came about.

“Through DeliveryLinkNG, we are developing and deploying tailored solutions to address key pain points that stakeholders in the delivery space have suffered.

We are creating real value for stakeholders while using customers’ satisfaction as our focal point.”

He stated that the app contains a dashboard for customers and service providers where they can manage orders, vehicles, drivers and customers, all in one place.

Dele added that unlike its competitors, DeliveryLinkNG allows service providers and customers to bargain and agree on a price, and does not charge commissions or share from the sales of delivery service providers who signed up on the app.

“Customers can sign up as the app is secured by Microsoft. We have also partnered with Paystack and Providus Bank for ease of payment and a safe wallet system,” he noted.

The Business and Brand Manager, ‘Sayo Olonilua, stated that DeliveryLinkNG would be operating in the Courier, Express and Parcel (CEP) segment of the logistics industry, which is the segment that specialises in moving small goods, parcels and packages.

She said the company’s vision is to be the leading platform that revolutionizes the delivery industry, providing seamless and efficient logistics solutions for individuals and businesses, adding that they would be expanding into the cargo and shipping business soon.

Speaking further, Sayo stated that customers remain at the forefront of the company’s priority as they aim to create value for all stakeholders by providing exceptional service every step of the way.
