UTB Commences Aggressive Marketing of ‘Explore Uganda’ Project.Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya participate in Fam trip

The Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has commenced an aggressive marketing of the ‘Explore Uganda’ project to boost the tourism sector of the country.

A representative of the Uganda Tourism Board, Mr. Donald Musobozi, disclosed this yesterday during a parley with journalists, bloggers and tour operators from Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Ethiopia, held at Four Points Sheraton Hotels in Kampala.

Musobozi who was accompanied by Thorn Mulli, said the UTB decision to embark on the 7-day familiarisation trip, is to showcase the tourism potential of the Pearl of Africa to the entire world.

According to him, the familiarisation trip will start from Kampala, the country’s capital, where some iconic landmarks such as Uganda National Museum, Ndere Cultural Centre are located.

Also to be visited are the Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and tracking of chimps and other primates.
