The organisers of the fifth edition of the annual Africa Coaching Week has declared that the august event ended with a resounding success at its in-person flagship conference held at the exquisite EbonyLife Place in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Organised by the Life Coaches Association of Nigeria (LCAN), the premier professional body for coaching practice in the country, the event, they said, marked a pivotal moment in advancing coaching excellence across Africa.

The four-day event, which commenced on November 27, 2023, according to the body, witnessed a convergence of high-level fireside chats, enlightening keynotes, captivating career and business talks, as well as enriching networking sessions.

It stated that the Africa Coaching Week welcomed a diverse audience, including life coaches, coaching enthusiasts, counsellors, entrepreneurs, career professionals, human resource experts, managers, corporate representatives, CEOs, and the public across Africa, Europe, America and Asia, adding that: This diverse mix of participants created an atmosphere of collaboration and shared learning.”

In his remark, the Chairman of the LCAN Board of Trustees (BoT), Dr. Lanre Olusola, stated that: “Africa Coaching Week isn’t just about Nigeria, it’s about Africa, it’s about positioning the narrative of African coaching because it’s completely different from the global perspective.”

“The pièce de résistance at the event was a practical fireside chat where some LCAN members and business leaders joined Dr. Olusola to discuss their coaching journeys and share insights into their experiences.

“The panellists included the CEO of GIG Mobility and MD at Pause Factory, Enahoro Okhae; business coach and CEO of Zetile Group, Yvonne Ofodile; and CEO of Cerca Africa, Sam Obafemi, who got the guests hooked with their transformational stories of growth,” the organisers stated.
