The Permanent Secretary(PS), Ministry of Police Affairs, Dr Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, has tasked a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Aged Network, to produce a funding template that would be institutionalised for the purpose of closing the funding gaps in the ministry.

The group had also partnered with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Defence, the Nigerian Police Trust Fund (NPTF) among others.
“Looking at what the Aged Network has done for this country, we felt we need to see how we can deepen the partnership so that we can take the necessary steps. Aged Network works with many countries. Secures funds for projects,” he said.
The PS urged the group to bring project of value to Nigeria.
“We want you to bring project of value to Nigeria. I want this project to be institutionalized,” he said.
Speaking earlier, the head of the delegation, Ambassador Majidadi Kontagora, pledged to bring financial infrastructure into the country to aid the ministry.
