Rinotech MD Calls for Peace  in Rivers

The Managing Director, Rinotech Facilities,  Prince Innocent Anaele, has called for calm between the camp of the Governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara and his predecessor,  Nyesom Wike  over the current crisis in the state.

In a statement, Anaele  expressed sadness over the fact that  Wike, who is the current Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), is always fighting anyone he helped to be in one position or the other.

He said: “Starting from the former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman,  Uche Secondus, whom he helped to occupy that position but because of his ambition to become president fought and removed him to install Senator Iyorcha Ayu, whom he later fought and removed too.”

According to Anaele,  Fubara has not lasted even six months as a  Governor of Rivers State, before he (Wike) has started a fight aimed at   impeaching the governor and possibly install the factional Speaker, Rt. Hon.Matthew Amaewhule.

He said that Wike should know that he became powerful because he was a governor, adding that  now Fubara is the state governor, he should please respect him and the office he is  occupying.

“Well, in all these happenings, I think, this is happening because of the sincere prayers of Rivers people. God is not in support of godfatherism in Rivers State. It didn’t work for Sir Peter Odili, and it didn’t work for Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi  and am sure it won’t work for you. I enjoin the governor to be very resolute in his dealings with the issues, as the then Governor may be coming from another angle to wrestle him out. Please work and deliver dividend of democracy to the good people of Rivers State.

“I call on the Inspector General of Police, to take note of the actions of his men in Rivers State command and do the needful. This is the turn of Riverine, the upland has ruled for 24 years. We, the good people of the state are not in support of what Wike and his men in the state House of Assembly are doing. How can you be talking of impeaching the Governor and suspension of members of the house at this time. So, Wike, please allow the governor to breath a fresh air.

“In life God uses a person to favour someone. At a point when Christ, was tied carrying his cross, he needed someone to help him and , Simon of Cyrene, helped Jesus Christ to carry the cross. Even the tomb where Christ was buried belonged to someone. So, Wike who is  the FCT minister should please allow the Governor  Fubara to fully function as a governor, irrespective of the agreement they both had.

“I therefore ,call on the  PDP national leadership to, as matter of urgency, wade into the matter and resolve same without waste  of time to avoid further break down of law and order.

“Am calling on the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be very careful of a man who is always fighting one he helps to power. A man in quest for power will do anything humanly possible to achieve it, no matter who is involved.

“In one of Wike’s interview, he said, when the law speaks, ethnicity will go, support will go. Then it occurs to me that he was head bent on removing the governor. Again, the recent defection  of 27 House of Assembly members from PDP to APC shows that Wike and his men are up to something.”
