Beauty brand, Bond Hair has announced a re-launch into Nigeria’s booming hair care sector with varied collections to suit individual’s needs and taste.

Founder of the company, Itoro Okopide, recently announced the re-launch at a press conference in Lagos, stressing her intentions to transform the market and improve customer’s experience and relationship with their hair.

She said the organisation was setting out with artistic, bold designs and styles, typical of Nigerian women, adding that her products are of unmatched quality sourced directly from India.

She described Nigeria as a fertile destination for hair investors, given the strength of its youthful population and specifically, growing female population.

She however decried the influx of scammers and fake vendors in the business, which to her fuels negative reviews, experiences and distrust.

According to her, “Overtime, Nigerian women have had trust issues with hair vendors as a result of the not too pleasant experience they’ve had with them.

We see and hear this, thus informing our commitment to change this narrative.”

She added that the dearth of quality hair in the country, which personally affects her, inspired the re-launch of the brand, which was hitherto affected by COVID-19 challenge.

“We are constantly innovating through market research to churn out unique and luxury hair design and styles that are yet affordable. Our customers can also choose their style which will be tailored to their preference”.
