It’s a big year for Nollywood with the debut of several blockbusters. But there’s apparently still more to come before the year ends. With the recent release of ‘No Way Through’, one of Africa’s leading production houses, Inkblot Productions, on the 7th of December, played host to cast, crew, and friends at an exclusive screening of their latest blockbuster, ‘No Way Through’ at the IMAX cinema in Lagos.

The event was graced by cast members including Chidi Mokeme, Seun Ajayi, Roberta Orioma, Deza The Great, Ikechukwu Onunaku, Co-founders of Inkblot Productions Zulumoke Oyibo, Damola Ademola and Naz Onuzo who is also the director of the movie and several other notable personalities.

Although award-winning actors Funke Akindele and Chioma Chukwuka couldn’t make the private screening, their impeccable acting spoke loudly for them. Big Brother Naija Season 7 star, Sheggz Olusemo also made his feature film debut in the movie.

As the lights dimmed and the screening began, the director’s vision and storytelling prowess were evident, taking the audience on a gripping journey as gasps, laughter, and moments of silence echoed in the theatre, underlining the emotional rollercoaster experienced by the attendees.

The film’s ability to connect with the audience left them discussing their favourite scenes and speculating about the subsequent plot twists. Since its release on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, 8th December, the buzz around the movie has been a mixture of applause and excitement, with fans taking to social media to share their thoughts and awe about the crime thriller.

“I watched this movie last night, and my eyes were glued to the TV (I rate it 10000000000/10).” X (Twitter) user @sasheisha wrote. Another @ebukajer wrote: “Chiomaaaaa, we need part two; wanna see what her next move will be.” Also, @domstoresjewelry wrote “Watched it yesterday, and it certainly was great. Loved their casting.”

With superb acting from the star-studded cast, an engaging storyline, and expert filmmaking, “No Way Through” is poised to make waves in the Nollywood industry and across the globe.
