Nonzo Bassey Drops Debut Album

For his debut album, Nonzo Bassey, the artist and actor delivers a sensational treat, giving his fans a peek into the ‘Diary of a Lover Boy.’

Released on December 15, the 11-track album narrates a tale of ambitious aspirations and a love affair gone awry, blending the rich musical tapestries of Highlife, Afrobeats, R&B, and Dancehall genres.

Over the years, Nonzo has distinguished himself as a fine artist whose style is versatile and dynamic. This was seen in ‘Toyo’ released in 2022. He has remained steadfast to his craft, delivering sweet melodies that continue to endear him more to fans.

Preceding the album release was an album listening party which was attended by his close friends, family, and well-wishers. Renowned celebrity actors Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Ruth Kadiri, and Ini Dima Okojie were among the attendees. Monzo mesmerised his guests with emotionally charged melodies of songs like ‘Nkese,’ ‘Answer Me,’ Romance and ‘Let It Go’ from the album.
